About Buckcherry
After returning to the studio and producing the rocking new album, “Warpaint,” Buckcherry is celebrating the sound with an electric live show. As a collection of old-fashioned L.A. hard rockers with a reputation for their party-band ways, Buckcherry formed in mid-1995, after singer Joshua Todd and guitarist Keith Nelson were introduced through their tattoo artist. After cutting several demos, the duo recruited bassist Jonathan “J.B.” Brightman and drummer Devon Glenn and began performing live, quickly earning a local following for their swaggering, grunge-flavored music. Now back with their first musical endeavor since Nelson and drummer Xavier Muriel left the band, the new album proves the bad is undeniably and unapologetically keeping the sound of the dirty ’80s alive and well. With all this and April marking the 20th anniversary of the band’s debut album, there’s no better time to celebrate the wild ride that is the Buckcherry experience.
