About Tad Robinson
Ranked “near the top of the list of the finest living singers of soul blues” (DownBeat magazine), Tad Robinson has earned 10 Blues Music Award nominations for his recordings on Severn Records as well as earlier work on the Delmark and Rounder labels. With harmonica chops influenced by Sonny Boy Williamson and Junior Parker and a vocal style inspired by Otis Redding and Al Green, he tours widely and has performed at major international blues festivals. His band features top Indianapolis musicians Paul Holdman on guitar/vocals, Kevin Anker on Hammond organ, and Brian Yarde on drums.
