Luminare Christmas at the Palladium
A new high-energy Christmas concert experience will help kick off the holiday season Dec. 3 at the Center for the Performing Arts.
About the show
Described as “a powerful visual and musical journey,” Luminare performs original Christmas songs and reimagines the classics through dynamic staging and a blend of rock, pop, classical, and folk music. The production is led by John Blasucci, longtime keyboardist for Dennis DeYoung of Styx and former lead keyboardist for Mannheim Steamroller.
The band, which launches its national tour at 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at the Palladium, is composed of world-class musicians whose international credits include Foreigner, Chicago, Camerata Strumetale Italiana, Orchestra Sinfonica del Conservatorio Giuseppe Tartini di Trieste, Rock of Ages, American Idol, and The Voice. Luminare’s debut album, That Star, showcases their powerful sound on the original title track as well as Christmas favorites such as “Angels We Have Heard on High,” “What Child Is This,” “We Three Kings,” “Little Drummer Boy,” and “Joy to the World.”
