Broadway Meets Motown
This colorful Dance Kaleidoscope concert is full of familiar songs that are given surprising twists through dance. The songs will be familiar but the surprises will come through dance.
Well-loved Broadway tunes like There’s No Business Like Show Business, Some Enchanted Evening and Send in the Clowns are showcased in Act One. Dance Kaleidoscope Artistic Director David Hochoy has selected music from many classic Broadway composers for this entertaining piece.
Act Two, (The Best of Super Soul) is the creation of three choreographers, each selecting their favorite Motown songs to create dances for DK. The mood shifts from funny to tender to sexy. The DK dancers really demonstrate the artistic and emotional range.
