Macabre – Edgar Allen Poe Ballets

In their opening show of the season, Macabre – Night of Edgar Allen Poe Ballets at the Athenaeum, Ballet Theatre of Indiana performs a suite of dances by their new Ballet Master and Resident Choreographer, Cole Companion. Performances include: The Masque of the Red Death by Director Stirling Matheson; and Annabelle Lee, by company dancer Emma Rose Beigel.

Ballet Theatre of Indiana seeks to present classical and contemporary ballets to Indiana audiences to help create opportunities for emerging choreographers to showcase their work and to foster dance education in the community.  Celebrating Indiana’s rich history of ballet, the organization strives to create a sense of community and familiarity between the dancers and the audience by providing performances the audience can relate to.
