My Fair Lady

Based upon the timeless story of  George Bernard Shaw’s Pygmalion, this Lerner and Loewe musical tells the oddly romantic story of  Eliza Doolittle, a Cockney flower girl who takes speech lessons from professor Henry Higgins, so that she may pass as a lady.

This momentous hit show from the golden age of broadway originally debuted in 1956 but stands the test of time with musical favorites like “Wouldn’t it be Loverly”, “I Could Have Danced All Night”, “Get Me to the Church on Time”,  “I’ve Grown Accustomed to Her Face”,  and “On the Street Where You Live”.  One of the longest running shows of any major musical theatre production in history, it became a popular film and has seen and numerous revivals and regional stock productions.

It is a classic that stands the test of time and is often called  “the perfect musical”.
