INDOT Kicks off “Paint the Plow” Campaign

The Indiana Department of Transportation is looking for art students throughout the state to come together to help kick off their 2019 Paint the Plow campaign.

Students in middle school, high school, and college can apply to participate, and will work with local INDOT districts to paint original artwork on snowplow blades. This campaign is designed to promote safety and awareness of INDOT‘s Winter Operations, and the vital service INDOT and its snowplow operators provide to our communities.

The snowplow artwork will be on display during snowplow operations and in community events to build appreciation of both the school’s art program and INDOT.

Art students desiring to share their artwork with INDOT may apply and sign waivers anytime before March 15th at https://www.in.gov/indot/3427.htm.
