“Family Fun!” with CSO
The Carmel Symphony Orchestra (CSO) hosts its annual interactive family-style concert, Family Fun!, on Sunday, February 25 at 3 p.m. at the Palladium at the Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, Ind. Serving as guest conductor will be former Carmel High School Music Department Chair, Soo Han.
About the experience
Children will have the chance to sit on stage during the concert with CSO musicians as they play excerpts from some of the world’s greatest orchestral classics. After the concert, youngsters may try out various musical instruments on display throughout the Palladium in an “instrument petting zoo.” Additionally, the CSO’s 2017 Young Artist Competition winner, harpist Renée Murphy of Bloomington, Ind., will perform during the concert. Renée performed Concerto for Harp and Orchestra, Op. 74 by Reinhold Gliére.
