“Brooklyn” at Footlite

Footlite Musicals’ BROOKLYN THE MUSICAL opens Friday, January 5th. An Indiana premiere, BROOKLYN is a story within a story. On the outside, you have a group of soulful homeless street performers living under a bridge in the famed New York borough who share a story from their lives. Then there is the story they tell – a wondrous fairy tale of a young girl searching for fame and the father she never knew. Together these stories create a show that is both touching and inspiring, drawing the audience into a live theater experience to remember.

Cabaret style production

BROOKLYN will be a cabaret-style production, with the audience seated on stage for an intimate, immersive experience. Seating will be limited, so buy your tickets early at footlite.org! Show dates are January 5-7, 11-14 and 18-21. Special discount pricing ($10) applies for the first Sunday and both Thursday performances.

Footlite partnering with CHIP

BROOKLYN is a musical that wears its heart on its sleeve, and has proudly partnered with the Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention. Together, BROOKLYN and CHIP hope to raise awareness about the Indianapolis homelessness epidemic. CHIP mobilizes, advocates and empowers community collaboration towards ending homelessness and fosters an effective system of homelessness prevention and intervention in the greater Indianapolis area.
