Breaking Benjamin

The Old National Centre is proud to announce the addition of Breaking Benjamin to its 2017 line-up.  See the popular rock band in concert Friday, May 12th at 9:00 PM in the Egyptian Room at the Old National Centre.

About the band

Breaking Benjamin quietly became a mainstream rock band in the late 2000s, the quintet from Pennsylvania combining metal-edged guitars with raw, emotional lyrics to produce a versatile rock ‘n’ roll sound that transcends on the radio as well as live on stage. Led by front man Benjamin Burnley, the band came together at the dawn of the 21st century and combines influences from post-grunge and alternative metal to create a sound that has remained consistent over the years, creating five studio albums (two of which went platinum) and one greatest hits collection.

Benjamin Burnley

Despite significant lineup changes over the years, Breaking Benjamin‘s musical style and lyrical content has remained consistent, with Burnley serving as the primary composer and lead vocalist since the band’s inception in 1999.  Breaking Benjamin has commonly been noted for its formulaic hard rock tendencies with angst-heavy lyrics, swelling choruses, and “crunching” guitars.

Huge sales

In the United States alone, the band has sold more than 7-million units, and yielded three RIAA-certified platinum records, two gold records, and several certified singles, including one multi-platinum, three platinum, and four gold.  Breaking Benjamin has also produced one #1 record on the Billboard 200 album chart.

Tickets to the May 12th show are $39.50 in advance, or $50.00 at the door.  They are on sale at the box office or visit www.breakingbenjamin.com.
