Whoopi Goldberg

On Saturday, April 14, 2018, at the Hilbert Circle Theatre located in downtown Indianapolis, Cancer Support Community Central Indiana (CSC) will welcome Academy Award winning comedienne, actress, and TV host Whoopi Goldberg as headliner for its 18th annual Laughing Matters comedy fundraiser.  The night will begin with a block party on the circle that will include live entertainment, and food and drink for purchase.  The program inside the theatre starts at 8:00 pm, with Whoopi Goldberg taking the stage at 9:15 pm.

“On April 14, the lights will shine on the power of laughter and we are honored so many have gotten behind the evolution of our event.  Laughing Matters is now one of Indianapolis’ notable fundraisers and we are thrilled Whoopi Goldberg is joining us this year,” said Cancer Support Community President and CEO, Eric Richards.  “The increase in support we’ve received the last two years has been remarkable.  Most importantly, it is an extremely significant event for the women, men and children impacted by cancer right here in central Indiana.  Funds raised through the evening help us provide free programs of support, education and hope for thousands each year.  There are 1,600 available seats for the evening and they will go fast, so don’t wait to get your tickets.  It will be a night like no other that’s for sure!”
