All aboard the S.S. American, where nightclub singer/evangelist Reno Sweeney is en route from New York to England in Cole Porter’s classic screwball comedy Anything Goes. This delightful, delicious and absolutely de-lovely romp features tap dancing sailors, jazz baby angels, crooning stowaways, public enemy #13, wealthy Englishmen and a lovely debutante. Romance is in the air on this luxury liner but it is far from smooth sailing. It is nonstop laughter and hi-jinks on the high seas with a show packed with spectacular dance numbers and many unforgettable Cole Porter songs such as “You’re The Top”, “Friendship” and “I Get A Kick Out Of You”. Kathleen Clarke Horrigan steers this production into port. The cast includes local actors Susie Harloff, Trenton Baker, and Sydney Norwalk.
Anything Goes plays from March 3rd thru the 19th, on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30pm, and Sundays at 2:30pm. Admission is $23 for adults and $15 for youth (17 and younger). On Discount Days (Thursday Evenings & Opening Weekend Sunday Matinee), all seats are just $10. For Footlite members, adults are $15 and youth are $10. Member tickets are only $5 on Discount Days.
In conjunction with Anything Goes, a special bonus takes place Saturday March 18th with Tap Workshops for the kids.
